Places

“The urban landscapes of the Argentine artist’s Places series are characterized in the slightest: they could be glimpses of any metropolis shrouded in mist or flashes of dawn or sunset, in an indefinite and suspended time. They are cosmopolitan views that seem to emerge with difficulty from a misty haze that fades the outlines. They are like flashes, abbreviated images of a collective memory, testimonies of a narration that tells of the man, of his identity, as it was built through history and civilization. The city is therefore an identitary place, depositary of the traces of memory of our experience, of intimate investigation and recognition of ourselves.” C. A. – curator
